The Distrito Telefónica is a modern corporate complex in Valverde comprising multiple buildings arranged across a large site with a unified architectural design. The layout integrates administrative offices, dining areas, healthcare services, and recreational facilities all within connected structures on a single campus.
The complex was completed in 2008 by architect Rafael de La-Hoz Castanys as a new headquarters for Telefonica's corporate operations. It represented a turning point in how the company approached centralizing its workforce and operations.
The complex reflects corporate values of transparency and openness through its extensive glass surfaces and the way buildings relate to one another across the campus. The design shows how Spanish architecture of that era envisioned workspace and employee experience.
