The Edificio Celosía features 30 interconnected volumes arranged in a checkerboard pattern, creating spaces for 146 apartments and communal gardens between units.
The construction of this residential building, completed in 2009, required an investment of 12.6 million euros from the Municipal Housing and Land Company of Madrid.
The building design promotes community interaction through strategically placed gathering spaces, outdoor areas, and six street-level commercial establishments with connecting arcades.
Each apartment within the complex benefits from multiple facades, ensuring sufficient natural light and ventilation while offering private outdoor spaces through integrated loggias.
The prefabricated modular construction system allows for flexible apartment configurations without additional costs, incorporating one, two, and three-bedroom layouts throughout the structure.
