The rectangular building features an open nave of 1500 square meters, incorporating a chapel and choir section within its functionalist design.
The Archbishop Casimiro Morcillo González consecrated this religious building in March 1965, following the development of the Hortaleza Neighborhood Housing Unit.
The main altar displays a large mosaic mural containing an iron and concrete Christ figure, accompanied by colored stained glass windows.
Visitors can reach the church at Calle Abegondo 28 via Hortaleza metro station on line 4 or bus lines 107 and 9.
The church serves three distinct neighborhoods: UVA, Parque de Santa María, and Virgen del Carmen, under the first vicariate of Madrid's archdiocese.
