The museum, established in 1954, preserves the birthplace of Fernando León y Castillo, a 19th-century Spanish diplomat who influenced Canarian development.
The museum collection contains over 12,000 original documents, including diplomatic correspondence, political manifestos, and international treaties from the 19th and 20th centuries.
The museum opens Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00, with admission fees of 2 euros for adults and 1 euro for seniors and large groups.
The archive maintains 20,000 microfilms reproducing letters from the Spanish royal family and first editions of Spanish constitutions from 1812 to 1978.
