Cave of El Reguerillo

The Cave of El Reguerillo is an underground cave system near Patones that spans multiple levels with numerous galleries, tubes, and chambers connected through different passages. The structure reveals how water shaped the rock over thousands of years, creating diverse formations and spaces.

Early researchers found engravings in the cave that show humans visited and used it in prehistoric times. The site received official monument status in 1944, marking its importance for understanding the region's past.
