Fuerte Rapitán

Fuerte Rapitán is a stone fortress near Jaca built as a border defense installation. The structure contains multiple levels with gun positions and connecting tunnels that link different sections throughout the complex.

Construction of this fortress began in 1884 as part of Spain's border defense strategy. The project took several years to complete and involved local workers building fortifications to guard against potential incursions from France.
