During the 16th century, architect Diego de Riaño modified the existing structure while incorporating elements of the Spanish Plateresque architectural movement.
The Retablo Mayor, created in 1585 under Juan Bautista Vázquez and completed by Jerónimo Hernández in 1608, represents local artistic traditions.
Visitors can explore this Historic-Artistic monument for an entrance fee of 2 euros, which contributes to building preservation efforts.
The 18th-century tower, influenced by Seville's Giralda and designed by Vicente Catalán Bengoechea, remains incomplete to this day.
