Municipal Newspaper Library of Madrid

This library holds millions of articles from newspapers, magazines, and publications spanning from the 18th century to today. The collection is organized in different formats, with digital archives complementing the physical holdings.

The archive was founded in 1916 as a specialized facility for collecting and preserving Spanish print media. It began its work in the Casa de la Carnicería building on Calle Conde Duque.
