The Museum of Medieval Textiles contains over 300 restored pieces of civilian clothing from the 11th to 13th centuries displayed in a converted grain warehouse.
The museum opened in 1987 and underwent expansion in 2008, doubling its exhibition space from 240 to 400 square meters to accommodate additional artifacts.
The collection includes garments recovered from the tombs of Castilian royalty, including King Alfonso VIII and Queen Eleanor of Plantagenet, buried in the monastery.
The museum operates Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 to 13:00 and 15:45 to 17:30, with modified hours on Sundays and holidays from 10:30 to 14:00.
The Banner of Las Navas de Tolosa, a 13th-century Almohad tapestry with Arabic inscriptions, represents the museum's most significant textile artifact.
