The museum occupies two connected structures, combining a former convent with a modern extension that houses scientific exhibits and educational spaces.
Founded in January 1999, the museum underwent major renovations in 2009 to enhance its interactive exhibits about life sciences and future technologies.
The facility dedicates sections to Earth knowledge, Mars exploration, meteorology, and climate change education through specialized exhibitions and programs.
The museum opens Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 19:00, with Sunday hours from 10:00 to 14:00, offering regular planetarium sessions.
The planetarium features a hundred-meter dome that displays over 6,000 celestial bodies, complemented by an astronomical observatory for space observation.
