The museum building, originally the Convento Minimos de la Victoria founded in 1576, transformed from a military barracks to a fire station before becoming a museum.
The museum displays trace the evolution of Zaragoza's firefighting corps from its origins in the 16th century when water carriers handled fire extinguishing duties.
The museum opens Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 to 19:00 from May to October, and from 10:00 to 17:00 from November to April, with reduced hours on Sundays.
The cloister area exhibits antique fire trucks while a miniature model recreates Nayim's goal in the European Cup Winners' Cup, dear to local football supporters.
