Platja de la Fustera

Platja de la Fustera is a beach on the Costa Blanca with fine sand measuring approximately 110 meters long and 27 meters wide. The water is clear and the shoreline provides access to typical Mediterranean environments.

The location evolved in the 1960s from a small fishing area into a recognized beach destination during the tourism boom. This transformation permanently changed the face of the Spanish Mediterranean coast.

The name Fustera comes from traditional wood craftsmen who once worked here, creating tools and objects from local timber. These artisans shaped the area's identity for generations.

The beach has showers, wheelchair ramps, lifeguards on duty, and nearby parking. Local restaurants within walking distance offer meals and refreshments.

Underwater seagrass (Posidonia) grows here as a protected plant that keeps water clear and provides habitat for many sea creatures. This marine vegetation plays a key role in the bay's ecosystem.
