Playa de las Higuericas

The beach extends for nearly 1000 meters along the Mediterranean coast, featuring white sand and natural dunes that reach heights of several meters.

The beach area contains sand formations that developed over three decades, with dunes previously reaching heights of 5 meters before entering a regeneration phase.

Local residents from the Murcia region frequent this Mediterranean beach throughout summer, participating in traditional coastal activities and water sports.

The beach provides two large parking areas, accessible wooden walkways for reduced mobility visitors, and lifeguard services from mid-June through September.

The beach incorporates separate play zones for children both on the sand and in the water, complemented by a palm tree-lined promenade for cycling.
