La Vaguada Park

The park extends over 50,462 square meters between Monforte de Lemos Avenue, Ilustración Avenue, and Betanzos Avenue in northern Madrid.

Local residents successfully campaigned in 1974 to preserve part of the land as a public space, leading to the park's creation alongside commercial development.

The park grounds host the annual Barrio del Pilar Festival each October, bringing together residents for community celebrations and activities.

Visitors can access the park via bus lines 67, 83, 124, 127, and 133, or use the Bicimad bike-sharing service to reach the location.

The park contains 656 trees, with red plum trees making up 21 percent of the total tree population, followed by silver poplars and horse chestnuts.
