Santuario de la Virgen del Monte, Catholic sanctuary in Bolaños de Calatrava, Spain.
The sanctuary comprises two distinct hermitages situated on a small hill adjacent to the Cuetos stream, surrounded by trees of the Moheda.
The original hermitage, constructed during the 13th century, featured a barrel vault and Mudejar coffered ceiling before subsequent modifications and expansions.
The last Sunday of April marks a significant pilgrimage where local families gather in the surrounding fields to share traditional lamb-based regional dishes.
The sanctuary welcomes visitors throughout the year and maintains regular religious services, located 14 kilometers from the main town center.
The sanctuary contains a collection of ex-votos and religious offerings dedicated to the Virgin, displaying centuries of local devotion and faith.
