Cala Binidalí

Cala Binidalí is a small cove in Maó with golden sand nestled between high rock walls. The water is calm and suitable for swimming because the surrounding cliffs provide natural protection.

The area was once an isolated cove before nearby settlements developed. The original coastal shape has remained unchanged and shows the natural structure of Menorca's Mediterranean shoreline.

The beach is part of a neighborhood where people gather to enjoy the coast, and locals use this spot as a meeting place throughout the year. The cove reflects how daily life here is shaped by the sea.

Access is via a steep staircase from the free parking area above. In summer a beach bar offers drinks and snacks, though the cove is small and can get crowded quickly.

The cove sits within a natural rock corridor formed by two high cliffs, like a hidden passage. This unusual geography makes it easy to overlook, even though it is just steps away from the town center.
