Biniparatx

Biniparatx is a beach in Sant Lluís on the Mediterranean coast, measuring about 25 meters long and 50 meters wide. The shoreline combines sandy areas with rocky sections that frame the water's edge.

The name Biniparatx comes from Arabic origins, with the prefix 'bini' meaning 'son of' in ancient Menorcan naming conventions. This linguistic heritage reflects the historical Arab influence that shaped the island's geography.

The beach welcomes visitors who prefer clothing-optional bathing and maintains a respectful community atmosphere. This practice has become a defining characteristic of the place over time.

Reaching the beach requires a walk of about 15 minutes from one of three available parking areas. The second parking lot offers the most direct route to the shore.

Ancient caves carved into the cliffs on the right side of the beach functioned as Bronze Age burial sites. These archaeological remains provide insight into early human settlement in the area.
