Cala de Binibèquer, Mediterranean beach in Sant Lluís, Spain
Cala de Binibèquer is a beach in Sant Lluís with fine white sand and clear water in a small cove. Pine forests surrounding the area protect the sandy shore and create shaded spots along the waterfront.
The beach developed alongside Binibèquer Vell, a residential area designed in 1972 by architect Antoni Sintes Mercadal. This planned approach shaped the character of the place and its connection to the sea.
The beach links to the Camí de Cavalls hiking route, which follows the coast toward natural swimming spots. These traditional places show how locals and visitors have enjoyed the sea here for generations.
The beach offers kayak rentals, lifeguard services, and a beach bar in an old cabin for refreshments. Morning hours tend to be quieter, with fewer sun loungers, making it easier to find your own space.
A small hidden cove on the right side of the main beach offers a quieter retreat. This secondary spot is often overlooked and stays less crowded, especially on busy summer days.
