Church of San Pedro de la Rúa, Estella

The church structure features three naves, an external square cloister, and capitals adorned with religious scenes and nature motifs throughout the building.

Built during the 12th century as Estella's first church, the sanctuary remains intact while later additions include Gothic and Baroque architectural elements.

The church contains sculptures depicting saints and biblical narratives, including a 14th-century Gothic crucifix and the Romanesque Virgin Mary of Belen.

Located at Calle San Nicolas 1 in central Estella, visitors can contact the church office by phone or email for current opening hours.

The cloister's north and west galleries display intricate stone carvings of medieval life, while the other two sections were lost during castle demolition.
