Church of San Vicente de Abando, Renaissance and Baroque church in Bilbao, Spain.
The Church of San Vicente de Abando features eight tall Tuscan columns with Doric capitals that support semicircular arches and ribbed vaults.
Construction of the church began in 1549 to replace a Gothic temple from 1190, with completion occurring in the middle of the seventeenth century.
The church functions as the canonical headquarters of the Passion Brotherhood, housing notable religious sculptures including Jesus of Passion and Our Lady of the Rosary.
Family masses occur every Sunday at 11:00 AM, while the church choir holds rehearsals at 10:00 AM, welcoming new members without requiring professional experience.
The sacristy, built in 1916, contains paintings from around 1780 and includes a washbasin from the early twentieth century and a schedule board.
