La Vicaria Arch Bridge spans the Segura River with a main span of 168 meters and rises 40 meters above the water level.
The bridge, constructed by Ferrovial-Agromán and opened in August 2007, marked a major infrastructure development in the Albacete province of Spain.
The bridge represents modern Spanish engineering excellence through its combination of concrete and weathering steel construction methods.
This infrastructure reduced travel time to Yeste village by 50 minutes, connecting it directly with Letur and eastern regions.
The bridge features Y-shaped concrete piers and steel tubes filled with self-compacting concrete, supporting a composite deck structure.
