Parc Natural de Poblet

Parc Natural de Poblet spans the northern slopes of the Prades Mountains, where limestone cliffs, valleys, and forests create diverse natural areas. The terrain supports multiple forest types and geological features that shape the landscape's character.

The protected area was established in 1984 through a Catalan government decree to safeguard the surroundings of the medieval Poblet Monastery. The decision to protect the landscape reflects how the monastery and its natural environment have been connected for generations.
