Parc Natural de Poblet, National Interest Nature Place in Vimbodí i Poblet and L'Espluga de Francolí, Spain

Parc Natural de Poblet spans the northern slopes of the Prades Mountains, where limestone cliffs, valleys, and forests create diverse natural areas. The terrain supports multiple forest types and geological features that shape the landscape's character.

The Catalan government declared the Paratge Natural d'Interès Nacional de Poblet in 1984 to protect the surroundings of the Santa Maria de Poblet monastery. In 1998 a decree added the partial nature reserves of the barranc de la Trinitat and the barranc del Tillar, both managed together with the park. The protected area lies in the Conca de Barberà, within Vimbodí i Poblet and l'Espluga de Francolí.

The territory centers on Poblet Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage site that has shaped the spiritual life of the region for centuries. Visitors experience how the monastic community and the surrounding nature have been intertwined throughout the area's history.

The GR 175 long-distance trail crosses the park, and the climb to the Tossal de la Baltasana, at 1,201 m the highest point of the Prades Mountains, is the main objective for hikers. The Les Masies settlement, with its hostel and hotels, is the usual starting point for walks to the monastery and the Fonts de l'Abat Siscar.

The park holds Catalonia's only stand of Pyrenean oak (Quercus pyrenaica), on the northern slopes of the Prades Mountains. The range's highest point, the 1,201 m Tossal de la Baltasana, lies at its south-western edge. The park was also declared a wildlife refuge in 2004.
