The 450-meter-long Canyelles Beach features light golden pebble sand and extends between two hills covered with Mediterranean pine forests.
The beach developed from a traditional fishing cove into a recreational destination when Lloret de Mar expanded its tourism offerings in the 1960s.
The marina at Canyelles Beach maintains local maritime traditions through regular boat festivals and fishing demonstrations throughout the summer months.
The beach provides extensive facilities including sunbeds, showers, toilets, lifeguard services, and a dedicated parking area from May to October.
The northern section of Canyelles Beach contains underwater caves and trenches, creating natural habitats for diverse Mediterranean marine species.
