Platja Pou d’es Lleó

Platja Pou d'es Lleó is a narrow beach on Ibiza's northeastern coast, measuring 30 meters wide and 60 meters long. Rustic boathouses line the shore, and cliff-side paths connect it to smaller coves nearby.

This location served as a landing point for republican forces during the Spanish Civil War in 1936. Military vessels provided support for this strategic operation.

Fishing boats and nets define the daily scene at this location, where artisanal fishing methods remain part of everyday life. The waterfront reflects how locals have long worked with the sea.

The beach offers parking facilities and two seafood restaurants along with a beach bar. Access is straightforward, and surrounding cliff paths allow exploration of nearby areas.
