Platja des Niu Blau, Sandy beach in Santa Eulària des Riu, Spain
Platja des Niu Blau is a sandy beach in Santa Eulària des Riu that stretches for about 100 meters along the Mediterranean coast. The shoreline has an average width of around 12 meters and consists of a mix of sand and pebbles.
The beach emerged from a natural cove and gained recognition as a swimming spot during the early phase of tourism development in Santa Eulària des Riu. This location has since become an established part of the coastal landscape and community life.
The Pura Vida restaurant operates directly on the beach and serves Mediterranean dishes to visitors. During summer, it regularly hosts live music events that blend seaside dining with entertainment.
The beach is equipped with showers and toilet facilities, plus a parking area with space for about 50 vehicles. Sun beds and umbrellas are available for rent directly at the shoreline.
A footpath runs westward through the coastal marshland from this beach to reach the neighboring coves of Cala Pada and Cala Martina. These connected beaches form an extended coastal experience without need to walk on roads.
