Cala Pada, Beach cove in Santa Eulària des Riu, Spain.
Cala Pada is a crescent-shaped cove with 200 meters of white sand nestled between rocky outcrops on each side. The shallow waters remain calm and clear, making it a comfortable spot for swimmers of all levels.
This cove developed from a quiet fishing spot into a bathing destination during the 1960s as tourism arrived in Santa Eulària. Basic facilities gradually replaced the simple fishing structures as visitors discovered the sheltered waters.
Local fishermen continue their centuries-old tradition of maintaining their boats in the northern section of the beach near the rocky formations.
Sunbeds and parasols are available to rent, with restrooms and showers on-site. Parking is located nearby, and you can find a few small eating spots within easy walking distance.
The underwater meadows of Neptune grass create natural barriers that maintain water clarity and support diverse marine ecosystems.
