Jardins de la Tamarita

The gardens contain Mediterranean plants including myrtle, privet, laurels, pittosporums, locust trees, yew trees, orange trees, cypresses, bamboo, and jacaranda.

Originally owned by the Craywinckel family, cotton manufacturer Alfredo Mata purchased the two-hectare estate in 1911 and commissioned its landscaping transformation.

The Plaça dels Quatre Continents features sculptures by Virginio Arias alongside an oval fountain and a waterfall grotto leading to natural sections.

The park opens from 8:00 to 19:00 during winter months and extends until 21:00 in summer, with facilities including table tennis and children's play areas.

Among the garden's specimens stands a century-old English oak reaching 23 meters in height, marking the passage of time in this urban sanctuary.
