Museo de Prehistoria de Orce

The Museo de Prehistoria de Orce is a museum in Granada province that holds fossils and stone tools found through excavations. Collections come from three different dig sites and show physical evidence of human settlement dating back over a million years.

Major discoveries in the area began in 1982 when a paleontologist found important fossils that would eventually lead to this museum decades later. The museum itself opened in 2015 and displays the results of long-term scientific investigation.
