The Museo de Prehistoria de Orce contains collections of fossils and stone tools discovered at three excavation sites in the Granada region.
The museum opened in 2015, following decades of archaeological research that started when paleontologist Josep Gibert discovered significant fossils in 1982.
The exhibitions present early human settlement evidence through skeletal remains, including a 1.4-million-year-old child's tooth found at Barranco León.
The museum operates Tuesday through Thursday from 11 AM to 2 PM, with extended hours on Fridays and specific weekend schedules.
The facility houses laboratory areas where visitors can observe the ongoing research of prehistoric artifacts from the ancient Baza Lake region.
