Santuario de Santa Gema, Catholic shrine in El Viso district, Chamartín, Spain.
The religious building stands in front of Santa Gema Plaza, near Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, featuring red brick walls and an octagonal dome.
Architects Manuel Ambrós Escanellas and Joaquín Núñez Mesa designed the shrine, which was consecrated on October 17, 1953 following construction in 1949.
Monthly pilgrimages take place on the 14th of each month, drawing faithful visitors to honor Saint Gemma and participate in religious ceremonies.
The shrine contains multiple sections for prayer and reflection, alongside a residence and convent managed by the Passionist Fathers since 1959.
The sanctuary preserves the heart relic of Saint Gemma Galgani, transported from Rome in 1985, making it a significant pilgrimage destination.
