Bullring of Teruel, Bullring in Teruel, Spain
The Neo-Mudéjar style bullring features traditional Spanish architectural elements with decorative brickwork and stands south of the city center of Teruel.
Architect Juan Antonio Muñoz Gómez designed this arena, which opened its doors on May 30, 1935, with performances by matadors Maria Montalvo and Domingo Ortega.
The Feria del Ángel, occurring each July, brings thousands of spectators to celebrate the city's patron saint through traditional bullfighting performances.
The arena accommodates 6,800 spectators and operates under the management of Teruel City Hall, offering advanced ticket reservations through the Servitoro platform.
On July 9, 2016, this venue entered Spanish history books when professional matador Victor Barrio became the first bullfighter casualty of the 21st century.
