Las Delicias

Las Delicias is an urban beach on the Mediterranean coast stretching for about 800 meters with soft olive-colored sand and a 50-meter width. The shoreline features a gentle slope into the water, making entry easy for all visitors.

The beach received its first Blue Flag certification in 1987, marking the start of ongoing recognition for water quality and safety standards. This designation has been renewed regularly since then.

Local families gather at this beach throughout summer evenings until 1:00 AM, maintaining a traditional Spanish schedule of late-night social activities.

The beach has showers, restrooms, and lifeguards during summer months. Along the promenade, visitors can find rental stands for beach equipment and cafes.

From the beach, visitors can see the 16th-century Castle of San Juan overlooking the water from above. Fishing boats regularly anchor in the protected waters near shore.
