Xilloi

Xilloi is a white sand beach along the Galician coast, extending about 550 meters with a wide shoreline roughly 70 meters from water to the dunes and coastal plants. The sandy surface slopes gently toward the sea and opens to a spacious area for walking and resting.

The beach earned Blue Flag certification in the early 2000s, marking its recognition for water quality and maintained facilities at that time. This award reflected the area's commitment to keeping coastal standards during that period.

Local fishermen maintain their traditional practices near Xilloi Beach, continuing centuries-old methods of small-scale coastal fishing in the region.

Parking areas are available near the beach entrance with basic facilities including restrooms and walking paths along the shore. The access points make it easy to reach the sand and water without difficulty.

The sheltered location creates natural swimming conditions with gentle waves throughout the summer season. This makes it a safe spot for families and less experienced swimmers to enjoy the water.
