The octagonal bandstand rests on a stone base with eight cast-iron columns supporting a glass roof topped by a multicolored ceramic dome.
Built for the Hispanic-French Exposition of 1908, the structure moved from Plaza los Sitios to Paseo Independencia before settling in its current park location.
The bandstand holds official heritage status as a bien de interés cultural, representing a prime example of Aragonese modernist architecture in Zaragoza.
Musical performances and public events take place regularly at the bandstand, which underwent complete restoration work following vandalism damage in 2017.
The structure combines industrial materials like cast iron with decorative ceramic elements, demonstrating early 20th-century architectural innovation in public spaces.
