Molino de Antigua

The circular stone building features three floors with four sails and houses traditional milling machinery made primarily of wood and iron components.

The windmill, established in the late 18th century, supported Fuerteventura's role as a grain supplier to other Canary Islands including Tenerife and Gran Canaria.

The structure includes the Majorero Cheese Museum, presenting exhibits about local goat breeds and traditional cheese production methods of Fuerteventura.

The cultural complex opens year-round with an entrance fee of 4 euros, offering guided tours through both the windmill and cheese museum sections.

The site contains gardens with international cactus species and stands as one of 22 protected windmills on Fuerteventura island.
