The park incorporates Andalusian design elements and exhibits structural remnants from the 9th century Islamic fortification of Madrid.
The park maintains regular hours from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM on weekends and holidays, with access to bus lines 3, 31, 41, 50, and 65.
The garden features ancient specimens including an ulmus and a fig tree, alongside wild cherry trees and apple trees throughout its grounds.
