Pazo de Ximonde

Pazo de Ximonde is a Baroque manor house set on a 12-hectare walled estate in Ximonde. The building features an L-shaped facade with a balcony above the main entrance, surrounded by forested areas with cork oaks, traditional oaks, olive trees, and cedar trees, along with expansive garden spaces.

The manor was originally built in the 16th century and later reconstructed during the 18th century. It served as the seat of the Counts of Ximonde, who were descendants of the Cisneros lineage.

The main entrance displays a shield bearing a crown and the Cisneros family coat of arms, where a swan appears as their ancestral symbol. These heraldic details shape how the place looks and speaks to its noble past.

The estate is surrounded by wooded areas that showcase diverse tree species and garden zones. Walking through the grounds allows you to explore the various spaces and get a full sense of how the property sits within its natural surroundings.
