The Convento de la Concepción combines Gothic, Mudéjar, and Baroque architectural elements within its structure, featuring an octagonal fountain in the central courtyard.
Construction of the convent began in 1523 under the initiative of Leonor Ramírez and Diego de Bresco, moving from Calle Elvira to its current location.
The monastery museum displays numerous representations of the Immaculate Conception, small polychrome clay figures, and artistic works from different periods.
The monastery museum welcomes visitors from Tuesday to Sunday between 10:45 AM and 1:00 PM, with an entrance fee of 5 euros.
The complex integrates several pre-existing Moorish houses connected through various patios, with the church positioned at the center of the ensemble.
