La Calobra beach, Shingle beach in Sa Calobra, Spain
The beach extends 50 meters in length and 10 meters in width, featuring coarse sand and pebbles between limestone cliffs at Torrent de Pareis gorge.
The road leading to Sa Calobra, constructed in 1933 without modern machinery, represents an engineering achievement through the mountainous Tramuntana terrain.
The natural amphitheater at Torrent de Pareis hosts an annual concert every July, bringing together musicians who perform in this geological formation.
Visitors can reach the beach via car on winding mountain roads, boat services from Port de Soller, or scheduled bus connections from Palma.
The beach sits at the end of a tunnel pathway that cuts through rock formations, opening to a cove where fresh water meets the Mediterranean Sea.
