Saariselkä is a mountain village in northern Finland located near Urho Kekkonen National Park, with hotels, restaurants, and outdoor activity facilities spread across the landscape. The settlement sits far north and serves as a base for hiking and exploring the natural surroundings year-round.

The two ridges Kaunispää and Iisakkipää offer around 200 kilometers of groomed cross-country ski trails during the long winter months. These fells are also prime locations for viewing northern lights on clear nights.
