Per Brahe Statue, Bronze statue in Brahenpuisto Park, Turku, Finland.
The bronze statue measures 2.95 meters tall and stands on a red granite base of 4 meters, depicting Per Brahe the Younger in formal attire.
Created by sculptor Walter Runeberg in 1888, this monument honors Per Brahe's role as Governor-General of Finland and first chancellor of the Academy of Turku.
The Swedish inscription on the base reads 'I was satisfied with my country and my country satisfied with me', reflecting Per Brahe's connection to Finland.
The statue faces Turku Cathedral and visitors can find it at coordinates 60.451611 latitude and 22.277667 longitude in the center of Brahenpuisto Park.
The current statue replaced an earlier version by Runeberg that was too small for the pedestal and was subsequently relocated to Raahe's Pekkatori square.
