Perttilä Suspension Bridge

The Perttilä Bridge is a steel wire suspension structure that crosses the Kyrönjoki River with a single-lane deck for two-way traffic. Supporting cables connect between anchor points to hold the span above the water.

Built in 1910, this structure was created when Finland was modernizing its transport networks to better connect rural areas. The bridge emerged from the country's early engineering capabilities during a period of infrastructure expansion.
