Rautasilta

Rautasilta is an iron truss road bridge in Oulu that spans the Oulujoki with a solid structural design. It connects different parts of the city across the river, handling daily traffic on both sides.

The structure was built in 1886 as a railway bridge and was repurposed for road traffic in 1964. This shift from rail to vehicle use reflected the city's changing transportation needs over time.
