Oulu Central Stadium

Oulu Central Stadium is a sports venue in Pokkinen with a grass pitch and stands designed to host multiple athletic events. The facility served primarily football and track-and-field competitions and functioned as a major gathering place for the city.

The facility opened in 1924 and served the local sports community for over seven decades. It closed in 1997 and was replaced by a newer venue.

Throughout its existence, the stadium hosted numerous football matches, athletic events, and winter sports competitions that united the Oulu community.

The location is easily accessible in the northern part of the city and offers basic visitor amenities. Visitors should note that the original venue is no longer operational and has been replaced by a newer facility.
