Salle Pleyel, Concert hall in 8th arrondissement, France

Salle Pleyel is a concert hall in the 8th arrondissement featuring Art Deco architecture and exceptional acoustics throughout its interior. The venue seats around 1900 guests and includes modern technical equipment for diverse types of performances.

Pleyel founded a first concert space in 1839 on rue Rochechouart, which eventually relocated to a new location. The current building opened in 1927 under architect Gustave Lyon's design at rue du Faubourg-Saint-Honoré.

This place transformed from a classical symphony center into a modern venue hosting jazz, rock, and contemporary music across its programming. Visitors experience a mix of different musical traditions throughout the year.

The hall is easily accessible by metro, with Ternes station located nearby for convenient arrival. Advance ticket reservations through the official website are recommended to secure your seat.

A fire in 1928 led to major renovations that reduced the original capacity significantly, yet improved the acoustic quality. These changes shaped how sound travels through the space today.
