Château de Dunois, Medieval castle in Beaugency, France

The castle features an elevated garden, honor courtyard, and chapel within its stone walls constructed during the 14th, 15th, and 16th centuries.

Jean de Dunois received the castle in 1422 from his half-brother Charles I of Orleans and rebuilt it after the Hundred Years War.

The castle now functions as a digital art center, displaying permanent exhibitions focused on the intersection of arts, science, and heritage.

Evening light shows occur Thursday through Saturday, projecting video mappings onto the castle's courtyard walls.

The castle's suspended garden offers views over the Loire Valley while serving as a reception venue for various events throughout the year.
