Tour Horizons, Multi-story urban building in Boulogne-Billancourt, France
Tour Horizons is a 19-story office building in Boulogne-Billancourt with three distinct structural sections: a concrete base, a ceramic-clad middle portion, and a glass-topped upper section. The complex spans approximately 38,600 square meters and houses office spaces, retail areas, an auditorium, and dining facilities all within one structure.
The structure rose on land where Renault factories once operated before closing and relocating in the early 1990s. This redevelopment marks a turning point when the area shifted from manufacturing to commercial use.
The building represents a modern approach to architecture that acknowledges the industrial past of its surroundings. Its design speaks to how a former factory zone transformed into a contemporary business district that serves different needs today.
The building is located in Boulogne-Billancourt along Passage Pierre Bezier and is easily accessible by public transportation. Clear signage marks the entrances, and pedestrians can explore the different levels to view retail areas and public spaces.
The ceramic panels in the middle section create horizontal stripes across the facade with alternating white and black rectangular patterns. This design gives the building a visual rhythm that becomes especially apparent when viewed from the street at different times of day.
