The Chancellerie des Universités de Paris is an administrative office located within the Sorbonne in Paris. It manages property, assets, and affairs for eleven universities across the city from this central headquarters.
The institution was established on 30 December 1971 following the division of the University of Paris into thirteen independent universities. This breakup resulted from reforms designed to modernize and decentralize higher education governance in the capital.
