The museum contains 20,000 posters and 200,000 documents showcasing advertising graphics, press announcements, advertising blotters, and product labels from the 17th century.
Founded in 1983, the Centre de l'Affiche operated independently until recent years when its collections were transferred to the Paul Dupuy Museum of Fine Arts.
The institution maintains two major exhibitions annually in its 86-square-meter hall, focusing on different aspects of graphic design and advertising heritage.
Located at 76 Allées Charles de Fitte, the museum welcomes visitors from Tuesday to Sunday between 10:00 and 18:00, with easy access via Saint-Cyprien-République metro station.
The collection requires limited exposure times to preserve the delicate materials, leading to a rotating display system of the extensive graphic arts archive.
