Passerelle Viguerie

Passerelle Viguerie is a bicycle and pedestrian bridge crossing the Garonne River that links Hotel-Dieu with the Raymond VI Garden observation area. The metal structure provides separate pathways for cyclists and pedestrians along its entire span.

The bridge opened in 2008 as part of Toulouse's effort to expand non-motorized transportation routes across the city. This investment in pedestrian and cycling paths reflected a broader shift in how the city approached urban movement.

At one end of the bridge, a former parking lot has been converted into a performance venue right by the water. This space hosts music and art events, showing how the riverside has been reimagined for community use.
