Musée régional de l'air d'Angers-Marcé

The Regional Air Museum of Angers-Marcé displays 150 aircraft, including civil and military planes, gliders, and model aircraft across 3,500 square meters.

Founded in 1998, the museum originated from a 1981 initiative by pilot Christian Ravel to preserve aviation heritage by saving a Nord 1300 glider from destruction.

The museum maintains one of Europe's largest aviation documentation collections, containing over 100,000 photographs and the first French aeronautical magazine from 1868.

The museum welcomes visitors daily except December 25 and January 1, with admission rates of 7 euros for adults and 4 euros for children.

Twenty aircraft in the collection remain airworthy, while restoration workshops allow visitors to observe volunteer craftsmen working on historical aircraft.
